Unfolding Perspectives (2007) is an interactive kinetic video installation. This installation was created during a 3 month residency at the Cemeti Arthouse in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It reflects the artist’s sympathy for the local community, which was rebuilding after a destructive earthquake in May of 2006. Together with the bitter reality of the quake’s destruction, the work evokes mother nature’s cycle of life and death.
